Being able to pay our blessings forward is one of Ultimate’s greatest privileges, and it’s why community and generosity have been two of our guiding principles from day one. These core values drive us every day. They’re reflected in how our people take care of one another, treat our customers like family, and do their part to invest in our communities—across the country and now around the world.
At Ultimate, we are devoted to year-round service. But on this Thanksgiving, what does caring for our community look like?
Our People Events team is leading a giving campaign, encouraging employee donations to different charities countrywide, plus a Thankful campaign via social media. These efforts go to support organizations that help people who don’t know where they will find their next meal.
We also have individual departments organizing food drives for local families. In addition, our Women in Leadership Community of Interest subcommittee in Weston is serving lunch to the young women of PACE Center for Girls, a long-standing Ultimate customer and philanthropic partner.
During this time of year, I also stop to recognize what I am most thankful for: the more than 5,000-strong community of Ultimate employees who protect our special culture. To our people: Thank you for your passion, loyalty, and perseverance. Thank you for keeping our “People First” culture energetic and thriving.
In 2018, I’ve had the privilege to travel the globe, meeting hundreds of employees new to our incredible family, and those who have been part of our amazing journey for years, even decades. I’m lucky and proud to know each of you. Your individual stories contribute to the remarkable team that is Ultimate, and inspire me each and every day.
