During the webcast, Heimer described how UltiPro has helped AmeriPride unify and more effectively manage its U.S. and Canadian HCM, migrate to a more people-centric approach to human resources, and drive HR and business improvements.
AmeriPride selected UltiPro because of challenges associated with completely separate solutions for its U.S. and Canadian payroll. Prior to UltiPro, using different payroll systems resulted in redundant effort, the need for reconciliation between the two systems, and reporting difficulties.
“It’s been a tremendous improvement to have all our employees on one system,” explained Heimer. She described substantial reductions in payroll processing time, the elimination of dual manual entry, and the benefits of having all employee information readily available for reporting and analysis.
According to Heimer, UltiPro transformed AmeriPride’s approach to HR, with the company now “focused on a people-centric approach.” After activating UltiPro’s role-based access, Heimer said AmeriPride experienced, “a huge change in transparency… and with role-based security, managers have access to information they’ve never had before.”
Heimer also detailed overall business improvements from UltiPro, including a better new hire and onboarding experience: “On day one, they are ready to do their job right away.”
